Google Ads Agency that reports on revenue, not clicks

Search, Shopping, Performance Max and YouTube — structured, tested and managed against a cost per acquisition you set. Not against a dashboard that only ever goes up.

Digital Hangover is a Google Partner agency managing Google Ads for brands across India — Search, Shopping, Performance Max and YouTube. We structure the account around a target cost per acquisition, fix the tracking underneath it first, and report on revenue influenced and qualified demand rather than clicks and impressions.

Most underperforming Google Ads accounts are not badly optimised. They are badly measured.

The bids are fine. The ad copy is fine. But the conversion being counted is a thank-you page view, or a form fire that also triggers on validation errors, or a phone click that nobody ever answered.

Then the algorithm optimises faithfully toward that number, and it gets very good at buying something you did not want.

So we audit measurement before we touch a bid. It is unglamorous, it does not look like much in a first meeting, and it is the single change that has moved the most accounts we have taken over. If you want the mechanics rather than the pitch, our free Google Ads guide covers all of it.

WHAT'S INCLUDED

What we run

01 Search

The core. Intent-mapped ad groups, tight negatives, and ad copy tested against conversion rather than against click-through. Most accounts leak here through queries nobody chose to bid on.

02 Shopping & Performance Max

Feed quality first — PMax is only as good as what you hand it. Asset groups segmented by margin, with brand and non-brand separated so the reporting is not flattered by traffic you already had.

03 YouTube & Demand Gen

Upper-funnel reach that is judged on assisted conversions and CAC, not on views. Useful when search volume caps out and you need to create demand rather than harvest it.

04 Measurement

Conversion tracking, values, and offline import where it applies — so the algorithm learns from real outcomes. This is where we start, every time, and often where the account is actually broken.

05 Bidding & budget

Strategy chosen for the data you actually have, not the one that sounds most modern. Thin accounts need different bidding to mature ones. How we pick →

06 Reporting you can defend

Cost per acquisition, revenue influenced, qualified demand. Impressions and clicks are in the appendix, where they belong. What CAC means →

How we work

Five steps. The first two happen before we change anything you can see.

  1. Audit. Account structure, wasted spend, and above all whether the conversions being counted are real. You get the findings whether or not you hire us.
  2. Fix measurement. Tracking, conversion values, and what counts as a lead. Nothing downstream is trustworthy until this is right.
  3. Restructure only where needed. We do not rebuild by default — that throws away the conversion history the bidding relies on. Most accounts need surgery, not a transplant.
  4. Test deliberately. One variable at a time, run to a sample size that means something. Our free ROAS calculator shows the break-even your margin actually needs.
  5. Report and cut. Monthly, on CAC and revenue influenced — including the campaigns that should be switched off. Especially those.

What it costs

Management fees generally run from around ₹25,000 a month for a single focused account to ₹1,00,000 and above for multi-market or multi-platform work. That is the fee. Your ad spend goes to Google directly and sits outside it entirely.

We quote after the audit, because pricing an account we have not opened is guessing. If you want the platform-side numbers first — what clicks actually cost in Indian categories — we published them: Google Ads cost in India.

Before you sign with anyone: check that the Google Ads account is under your billing and ownership, with the agency given access. If the agency owns the account, leaving costs you the conversion history that makes it work. This is the single most common way businesses get locked in, and it is entirely avoidable.

Google Ads or Meta?

Google harvests demand that already exists; Meta creates demand that does not. If people are searching for what you sell, start with Google — the intent is already there and you are paying to be present for it.

If nobody is searching yet, Google will be expensive and disappointing, and that is not a management problem. We have written the comparison honestly, including when the answer is not us: Google Ads vs Meta Ads.

If you want both channels run as one strategy rather than two invoices, that is performance marketing.

Frequently asked questions

What does a Google Ads agency actually do?

Structure the account, write and test the ads, manage bids and budgets, control what you are not paying for through negatives and exclusions, and make sure conversions are tracked correctly enough that the numbers mean something. The last one is where most accounts quietly fail — if tracking is wrong, every optimisation after it is guesswork wearing a suit.

How much does Google Ads management cost in India?

Management fees generally run from around ₹25,000 a month for a single focused account to ₹1,00,000 and above for multi-market or multi-platform work. That is the fee only — your ad spend is paid to Google directly and is a separate line. We price after auditing the account, not from a rate card.

What is the minimum ad spend worth starting with?

It depends on your cost per click and how many conversions you need before the data means anything, not on a fixed rupee floor. The honest test is whether the budget can buy roughly 30 conversions a month — below that you are optimising on noise. In a cheap category that might be ₹40,000; in insurance or legal it can be several times more.

Can you guarantee results or a position?

No, and neither can anyone else — Google Ads is an auction, and position depends on competitors' bids and quality as much as yours. What we commit to is method and honest reporting: a defined target cost per acquisition, clean measurement, and a monthly conversation about whether the spend is earning its place. If it is not, we will say so.

Do you work with our existing account or start fresh?

We start by auditing what you have. Rebuilding from scratch throws away conversion history that the bidding algorithms rely on, so we only do it when the existing structure is genuinely unsalvageable. More often the account is fine and the tracking underneath it is not, which is a smaller and much faster fix.

Do we own the account and the data?

Yes. The Google Ads account should be created under your own billing and ownership, with us given access — not the other way around. If an agency holds the account and you leave, you lose the conversion history that makes the account work. Ask any agency this before you sign; the answer tells you a lot.
